Knanaya Chaplaincy Pilgrimage 2016
The United Kingdom Knanaya Chaplaincy came on their first pilgrimage last year and there were increased numbers this year. The Pilgrims’ Way was very colourful as pilgrims processed with their wonderfully decorated umbrellas to the Shrine. Mass was then celebrated in the Syro Malabar Rite in Malayalam.

The Archdiocese had a new programme this year starting in the gardens of the Anglican Shrine. Bishop John Arnold led his diocese’s pilgrimage to Walsingham. The pilgrimage started outside the Church of the Annunciation in the village as the bishop crowned the beautifully decorated statue and then led the procession along the Pilgrims’ Way to the Shrine.
