Bishop John Arnold led his diocese’s pilgrimage to Walsingham. The pilgrimage started outside the Church of the Annunciation in the village as the bishop crowned the beautifully decorated statue and then led the procession along the Pilgrims’ Way to the Shrine. Diocese of East Anglia Pilgrimage 2016
Hard on the heels of the Tamil pilgrimage the Shrine welcomed the priests and parishes of its own diocese of East Anglia. The day began with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the Church of the Annunciation in the village. The 2016 Pilgrimage Season started on the 1st of May with the first of the two pilgrimages of the Tamil community in England. Marriage and Family Life Pilgrimage 2016

Sadly, on Wednesday morning 23rd March 2016, in King's Lynn hospital, died Sister Wendy Renate. Our condolences to the Family and Sister Jane Louise
Sister Wendy was one of the Shrine's sacristans and served in Walsingham for over 30 years. She was greatly loved in this community and we thank God that she was part of the mission at both Shrines here in Walsingham.
