The Union of Catholic Mothers celebrated their seventieth pilgrimage to Walsingham this year. East Anglia UCM was the lead diocese and both Bishop Alan Hopes of East Anglia and Bishop Alan Williams of Brentwood, formerly the shrine director, and the newly appointed spiritual director of the UCM, were present.
