ECHO Walsingham 2020

31st October 2020 @ 17:00 - retreat Event

What is ECHO?
ECHO is a retreat unlike any other — blending the joy of friendship and faith with the excitement of new things, while cliff-diving into new freedom to be yourself, without fear! Come learn how to pursue relationships of purity and discover the “why” behind the “what” of God’s plan for love and sexuality. Grow in prayer and get a roadmap for discerning God’s call in your life. ECHO meets you right where you are, while stretching you to grow closer to God and all those you love.

Who is ECHO for?
ECHO is for young adults aged 18-35.

Where is it taking place?
ECHO will take place at various locations in Walsingham. Participants will stay in the Catholic Shrine’s residential accommodation in Elmham House and Dowry House.

When will it start and finish?
We will likely start with Mass around 5pm on Saturday 31 October 2020. The retreat will finish around 2pm on Thursday 5 November.

How much does it cost?
Costs for the 2020 retreat are yet to be finalised, but we hope to find some external funding to keep costs down and to allow us to offer bursaries.
We recognise that some potential retreatants might find the cost challenging and encourage you to seek help with funding: your family, friends or parish might help with funding this week of spiritual formation.

ECHO Walsingham 2020
Some feedback from 2019 participants:
"Excellent teaching balanced perfectly with beautiful worship and a warm, loving sense of community fostered."
"The quiet grace of Walsingham and the chance to give my YES with joy like Our Lady."

After the success of ECHO Walsingham in 2019, we will again be collaborating with Dumb Ox Ministries to bring an ECHO retreat to Walsingham in 2020. The retreat will run from Saturday 31st October to Thursday 5th November so please save the date and spread the word. Planning is in the early stages, but you can keep up to date by registering for updates and following us on social media.
